As a strategic emerging industry of the country, the low-altitude economy is entering a golden development period of trillion-yuan growth, driven by multiple forces such as policy support, technological breakthroughs and scenario expansion, with an extremely broad prospect. The Civil Aviation Administration of China predicts that its market size will reach 1.5 trillion yuan in 2025 and is expected to exceed 3.5 trillion yuan in 2035, becoming a new engine driving economic growth.
At the policy level, "low-altitude economy" has been included in the government work report for two consecutive years and incorporated into the "15th Five-Year Plan" proposal. The National Development and Reform Commission has established a Department for the Development of Low-altitude Economy, and various regions have also successively introduced special policies and regulations. The new regulations on the classification management of low-altitude airspace have been implemented, clearing institutional obstacles for the development of the industry. On the technical front, civilian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing Aircraft), and other equipment are accelerating their iterations. Core technologies such as external rotor motors, solid-state batteries, and intelligent flight control systems are constantly breaking through, driving the continuous improvement of aircraft in terms of endurance, payload capacity, and safety, laying the foundation for large-scale application. The technological upgrade of core components such as the external rotor motor will further consolidate the industrial foundation and help it become one of the most promising economic growth points in the next decade.
